The Fornazarič farm has a very long history, since their ancestors used the natural sources offered here for agriculture, which was also their way of living. The favourable geographical location and the method of production enabled the Fornazarič farm to develop and to expand their viticulture on all nearby slopes and to produce high-quality wine. The year of 1991 was the turning point when they started new philosophy and restructured their vineyards.  In particular, this meant densely planted vineyards, less yield per vine and omission of fertilizers, insecticides and herbicides. Their wines became different because they gained natural stability and the ability to have a long life that way. The wines in the cellar are matured without their help and do not contain any additives except sulphites. They are bottled without previous filtration, because their goal is to produce as natural wine as possible.
