This Icewine is made from Furmint and has a surprisingly bright yellow colour with a slight greenish tint. On the nose there are hints of dried fruits and almonds, which are even more prevalent in the taste. Together with the residual sugar and an intense, ripe acidity this special wine will continue to develop as it matures in the bottle.

Northern exposure. Heavier soil structure, opoka mixed with clay. A litle cooler vineyard - impact of northern wind. A lot of water in the terrain, never stressed in a dry periods. Planted 1987.Intense, almost deep golden-yellow colour. The nose is intense yet not overpowering, which can quickly affect a Sauvignon Blanc, rather it is mature and juicy, revealing ripe grapes grown in a moderate climate. Structured, reminiscent of gooseberry, white peach, hay, ripe tomato, a sliver of orange peel. The sensations all come together through fine, discreet notes, telling the story of ageing in oak.Dry on the palate, gentle acidity that nicely balances out and grounds its full body. The texture is oily, and despite a higher alcohol content, creates a pleasant tension serving up a luxurious aromatic profile. The taste lingers with a long, salty, dramatic finish.

Deep golden yellow colour. Rather youthful on the nose, open, vibrant and fruity. We can find juicy yellow fruits, ripe peaches, cloves, white flowers and a bit of wet stones and flint in the back.Dry on the palate, full bodied with huge intensity and moderate acidities. There is an atractive oily texture and the feeling of tension and volume when swirling. The wine slowly fills up the mouth completely and stays there persistently for a long time.
