Pale lemon color. The bouquet is youthfully accentuated, dominated by primary aromas, elderberry, tropical fruits, passion fruit, even hay and green peppers are found. It is also nicely ventilated in the mouth. Medium length, classic pullus.

Varied geological composition of the soil, especially gravel and clay, usually the lower layers are covered with a layer of marl. The vineyards are spread over the best vineyard locations on the slopes of the hills around Ptuj.
Grape production is a nature-friendly so-called integrated production under the watchful eye of the advisory agronomic service and oenology from the Ptuj cellar. The vine has the educational form of a double “guyot”.
The grapes from Haloze conjure up tropical notes of grapefruit in the mosaic of wine aroma, and Sauvignon from the middle Slovenian hills, which ripen on more fertile soils, adds green notes of paprika and cut grass and elderberry.
Sauvignon is a combination of four technological maturities of grapes and various oenological processes, such as 100% maceration of grapes from 8 to 24 hours, 100% ripening on fine lees, and above all 100% protective technology (without the presence of oxygen), which ensures our preservation varietal characteristics, freshness and drinkability.
Sauvignon is a typical representative of Sauvignons from the Ptuj cellar, which are enriched by intensive varietal recognition. The smell is reminiscent of grapefruit, gooseberries, cut grass and peppers. The taste is pleasantly rounded by rich full wine, where the freshness of acid and sugar are pleasantly complemented by a bouquet of wine.
We recommend 6 ˚C for complete enjoyment.
The chef advises dishes with asparagus, sea and freshwater fish, risottos, mussels, oysters.
