Originally blended by James Pimm as an aid to digesting oysters in 1840, Pimm’s went on to be sent to soldiers at the far edges of the Empire, be served at Queen Victoria's lunches and ended up making its debut at Wimbledon in 1971.You'll still find Pimm's pride of place at Wimbledon as well as many iconic cultural events, after all, Pimm's is the signpost of British summertime!
Refošk is a wine made from grapes of the Refošk variety. It is intensely reddish-purple in color. The smell is reminiscent of currants, raspberries and blueberries. It tastes fresh, inviting and drinkable.
The bouquet is mature, moderately emphasised, of pleasant smell. It is reminiscent of lavender, hay, honey, juicy yellow fruit. It is dry in the mouth, the texture is lovely and buttery, its body ranges from mid to strong. A wine with character.
This Chardonnay has a deep golden yellow colour, with a slight amber tinge. The bouquet is intense, of overripe fruit. We notice baked apple, candied orange, dried pineapple, chestnut honey, wood, cedar, roasted hazelnuts, toffee, caramel, thyme and rosemary, and a note of white pepper. The taste is dry, reasonably warm, refreshing, with a touch of tannins. An intense, full-bodied wine with an elegant and lasting aftertaste.Maturation of wine in 225l barrels. 48 hours of mash maceration, controlled fermentation and 100% malolactic.
