Since 1989 the Burgum Novum label represents the premium wines of Castelfeder. These wines are the maximum expression of intense work and care from the vineyard to the cellar, grown in the most prestigious vineyards in South Tyrol.
After a careful aging process in small oak barrels for 18 months, all Riserva wines age for another 12 months in the bottle before being released.

Cabernet Sauvignon is of medium-strong ruby and garnet colour. It has the discrete smell of forest fruit with gentle butter tones, which complement the barrique tone. In the mouth, the wine is dry, harmonious, with ripe tannins and medium-long after taste.

Intense ruby red with shades tending towards purple. The aromas are typical of black cherry, blueberry and blackcurrant. Youthful bouquet with sensations of Mediterranean scrub and a hint of sweet spices such as cinnamon and vanilla. Intense, full-bodied, fruity on the palate, with a prevalence of raspberries and red berries, the tannins are silky and elegant, the persistence is long and complex.
