The wine Alfonz was created in memory of the grandfather, his knowledge, tradition, and the family that exactly 100 years ago (in 1923) purchased the first 2 hectares of vineyard from Count Teuffenbach and produced their first own wine. We incorporate the traditional winemaking methods from that time and a modern stylization, which give the wine its distinctiveness, vibrancy, and liveliness – a true proof and stamp of the terroir.The grapes were grown according to high environmental standards, hand-harvested exclusively, and processed into wine using technologies with a low environmental footprint.Vinification: Immediately after harvesting the technologically ripe grapes, they were roasted, crushed, and cooled to 8°C before being transferred to a fermentation vessel, where cold maceration took place for 5 days. The grapes were then gently pressed, and the must was transferred into stainless steel tanks, where controlled fermentation occurred at 16°C. After the fermentation was completed, the wine aged in the tanks for an additional 12 months.

Colour: deep garnet red.Nose: intense, fruity (blackcurrant/raspberry) and complemented by notesof white pepper.Palate: this wine is juicy, powerful and fruity (red fruits notes) on the palate,with lovely roasted notes. There are silky and delicate tannins.Recommended food pairing: young milk-fed lamb.Ageing potential: 3-5 years.
The nose is complex and subtle with aromas reminiscent of white flowers, wild bushes and fruity notes of peach and fresh apricot. The mouthfeel is round, velvety with a fresh and lingering finish giving a long and vertical after taste. Kerner in acacia brings roundness, generosity, yellow fruit and floral character. Riesling brings vibrancy, freshness and complexity. Drink from now to 2025.The philosophy here is to craft a modern white wine with a Burgundy like balance made from the varieties we inherited. Grapes for this blend are collected at full maturity, golden yellow. Blend is composed of 80% Kerner (a cross between Riesling and Trollinger), and Riesling (20%). Kerner juice was barrel fermented in acacia wood (300L and 500 L, 3rd fill) and kept on gross lees for 8 months. Riesling (20%) was tank fermented and also kept on gross lees for the same amount of time before blending.Contains sulfite.Dry and warm summer season clearly drove the characteristic of the vintage and final wine style with low yields (up to 30% lower as usual) resulted in rich and concentrated wines greatly balanced by refreshing acidity thanks to the cold conditions in September.
The Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay Couvent by Jacobins AOC by Louis Jadot shines in a pale golden yellow. In the elegant bouquet you can smell ripe pears, grapefruit and fresh apricots. In terms of taste, it impresses with full-bodied and juicy fruity texture as well as very subtle hints of oak wood. The overall impression is round, elegant and very harmonious with a delicate melt.This varietal Chardonnay was fermented and aged half in stainless steel tanks and half in used oak barriques. As a result, the wine retains its fruity freshness on the one hand and on the other hand receives a beautiful fullness and harmonious balance.
Produced according to the process of biodynamic production, after 25 days of maceration with its own yeasts, it is poured together with fine yeast into Slovenian oak barrels, where it matures for about 24 months.It is ruby red in color, with an intense rich scent reminiscent of plums, cherries, black currants. The taste is quite intense, pleasant tannins, nicely harmonious, which lets us know that the grapes were picked at full maturity. Long aftertaste.We recommend it with all red meat, especially grilled but not too spicy.

Merlot is a soft, gentle wine with ruby red colour. The smell is intense, rich and with powerful bouquet. Combination of several different aromas - berries, jam, tobacco and leather. In the mouth it is smooth, rich and fruity, with mature tannins and long aftertaste.
