The whiskey first matures for nine years in American white oak barrels, in which bourbon was previously matured, and then carefully divided into two parts. One half continues to mature in bourbon barrels and the other moves to thirty-year-old sherry barrels ‘Matusalem oroloso’. The complex but balanced twelve-year-old whiskey ‘The Dalmore’ is the epitome of Dalmore Distillery style.


Aroma: Citrus, chocolate and aromatic spices.

Taste: Concentrated citrus, sherry oloroso and a hint of vanilla.


Conclusion: Roasted coffee and chocolate.
