Šturm je dvignil Modro frankinjo na neverjeten nivo. Znižal je pridelke na trto, pustil vinu dihati v lesenih sodih in rezultat je elegantno zrelo rdeče vino, ki nobenega ne pusti ravnodušnega. Kisline so mehke, pookus je dolg, kombinacija z rdečim mesom pa božanska.Za modro frankinjo modre kolekcije je značilna globoka rubinasta barva z odtenki vijolične. Poudarjena cvetica izraža pestre arome zrelih rdečih in črnih sadežev, ki se prepletajo s pikantnimi notami črnega popra ter pridihom po praženem in vanilji. Vino je suho, polnega telesa ter zaokroženega okusa, ki spomni na suhe slive. Zrele in uravnotežene kisline ter omehčani tanini napovedujejo popolnoma dozorelo vino v zelo dobri formi.

The colour is golden, medium deep. Nicely scented in the nose, quite intense for a Rebula, far from being discrete, with lovely diversity. It is reminiscent of ripeness, dried apples, lemon, lime as well, with a nice balsamic and honeyed touch. Such diversity can be seen only in very ripe Rebula. Oak ageing is present. With time and when fully open, a white blossom is joining the bouquet. Fruitiness is not a feature with our Rebula -as well as with other wines in our range. Dry on the palate, medium bodied with high acidities. Intense aroma, tight with oily texture. There is tension even a sense of salinity. Serenely persisting. This one you can try with sushi.

The grapes are harvested before sunrise during the third week of August. Dry ice is used to cool the grapes during transportation to the winery to maintain the subtle aromas in these grapes. A long and cool fermentation is carried out at a temperature of 16˚C, allowing for greatest varietal expression.This wine has an outstanding pale yellow colour. On the nose its intense aromas comprises of a mixture between tropical fruit and ripe apple. In the mouth it is very fresh with a good balance between acidity and fruit. The lengthy mouth-watering finish is marked by peach.
