Every year, in an extraordinary collaboration, the members of the guild of Maestros del Ron Cubano come from across the island to meet in the legendary cellars of Havana Club.
The purpose of this gathering is for the distinguished Cuban Rum masters to use their lifetimes of expertise to taste and approve the barrels of rum worthy of their "seleccion". These are then blended together and bottled at natural cask strength.
The result of this unprecedented process is this special release of richly complex and rewarding rum. It is best served with a little water or ice to release the exquisite flavours.

Nectar d'Or Glenmorangie is probably a reference to the golden nectar that was previously held in the casks used to finish the whisky. The aroma of lime and orange rind, sultanas and dates give a rich fruity flavour laced with tantalising spices of coconut and nutmeg. Ginger, nutmeg and toasted almonds bring a deep, warming taste interwoven with a syrupy lemon meringue and honeycomb middle. The finish is long and lusciously sweet.
