Laško Riesling is a dry, fresh and aromatic wine that was cold macerated for 24 hours, then fermented in a stainless steel container, followed by 15 months of maturation on its own yeast in a 2,500 liter acacia barrel. This gave the wine breadth, fullness of taste and a juicy and cheerful character. The wine has a deep golden yellow color with a few greenish hues. The taste is dominated by citrus in combination with ripe yellow fruit and a note of ripening in the wood.

As a variety, it can be a trifle reserved, almost indifferent, unless we bring it to its extreme. We pick it when it is fully ripe, but not overripe. It preserves the freshness that is not always present in Pinot Gris from the Goriška Brda region. When young, it feels somewhat unformed, always full-bodied and firmer. A rare style in our parts: you either grow fond of it or not. It is more reminiscent of the Alsatian style than of anything else.The colour is medium deep, golden with a gentle onion-skin hue. Quite discrete on the nose, delicate, fruity. Red apples, peach, juicy yellow fruits. Also, slightly spicy - nutmeg, vanilla. Clearly revealing that Pinot Gris is an aromatic grape variety. Dry, with buery texture, medium to full bodied with a rather high levels of acidities for a Pinot Gris from Brda. Intense and rich, warm but, not too hot. Nicely balanced. A true specimen of a first-class Brda Pinot Gris.

A blend of around 55% Pinot noir and 45% Chardonnay, comprising 20% of wine matured in oak tuns, Cristal Rosé is produced using the saignée (bleeding) process after cold maceration. The Cristal Rosé cuvée is aged, on average, for 6 years in Louis Roederer’s cellars.The attack reveals an aromatic intensity with a remarkable fullness and the smooth, sweet flavours of white flowers, red fruits, caramel, and Tarte Tatin. The full, round, and refined texture in the initial attack, which is characteristic of the Louis Roederer Champagne House. It is complemented by a winey—though not full-bodied—structure and a remarkable freshness, giving an impression of great finesse and strengthening the wine’s precision.

Vrbanjka 2017 shows depth and density with complex aromas going from spicy notes of white pepper and nutmeg to fruity aromas reminiscent of raspberry, blueberry, blackberry and underlying hints of dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied, deep and fresh at the same time with a very long finish. Tannins are still quite firm but the wine is already enjoyable. Elegance, complexity, power, finesse and freshness in the glass. It is a wine built for a long ageing. Drink between 2020 and 2032.Single vineyard wine. Grapes for this wine are harvested only from the steepest part of the vineyard, where the growth is regulated by poor, dry stony/marly soils with high proportion of limestone. Poor growing conditions results in small berries, small bunches and low yields what in turn brings concentration and complexity to the wines. Grapes are hand harvested in 15 kg crates, destemmed and whole berry fermented in open vats with 25 days of skin contact. After pressing into stainless steel tank to ensure that ferments are dry and to perform malolactic fermentation, the wine is kept in a second fill French oak barrique barrels and 500 l barrels for 12 months. Wine is not filtered nor fined.Contains sulfites.
