The color is medium deep garnet. The bouquet is nicely ripe, shows mostly tertiary notes, smells of earth, undergrowth, dried fruit, coffee beans, figs. The wine is dry in the mouth, the character is a bit better. The wine is fully ripe and ready for immediate consumption. Still in very good shape.

Templara Rossi is malvasia from the Monte d'Oro position, the crown of old templar's vineyards. This nectar from one of the best micro locations in Istria we fermented in 1000 litre French oak barrels where we let it age sure lie for ten months until it emerged as this sophisticated, rich and creamy, full - bodied wine. Crystal clear of noble straw yellow color, on the nose reminiscent of acacia flower followed by fruit notes of apple, plum and apricot, and bread crust and vanilla.Exceptionally harmonious and rounded, distinguished wine with moderate acids. Excellent pairing with scampi risotto, Istrian fuži pasta with truffles, seashell, and asparagus tagliatelle.
