A structured wine, ideal for aperitives or matching with vegetable or fish food.Hand harvest of biodynamic cultivated grapes. Four-hour maceration of crushed grapes, pressing and must decantation. Spontaneous fermentation with natural yeast present on the grapes. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Nine-month maturation of the wine on the lees in stainless steel tanks. Bottling according to biodynamic calendar with minimal sulphur addition and without filtration.
Very complex on the palate, it offers the perfect combination of the Cabernet Sauvignon's rich structure, Merlot's velvety texture, Shiraz's ripe fruitiness and Refosco's liveliness and juiciness. Dark ruby, reminiscent of ripe sour cherries, with soft brick-red glints. Very complex, reminiscent of forest fruit, tobacco, sour cherry and herbs, complemented by dark chocolate and truffle aromas in the background.
The wine is very deep purple. The bouquet is calm and mature. We find very ripe dark red and especially black fruits, dried fruits, it also smells like jam. In the mouth the wine is dry, the body strong, the tannins not very much. Full, robust, uncompromising refošk, with a clear Mediterranean touch that gives a beautiful, varied set of perception.
