Blaž belo (Blaž blanc) is our rich variety of rebula, chardonnay, pinot blanc andsauvignonasse. It is produced only in the best vintages and from the best grapes.It is of an intense and dense amber colour with rich, complex and subtle bouquetreminiscent of dried fruits – apples, citrus peel and raisins, and notes of dried flower,roasted almonds and butter. Its taste is elegantly bold, intense and very harmoniouswith a warm long-lasting aftertaste. The wine has a great potential for aging.

This Sauvignon Blanc glows with a clear, golden yellow colour in our glass. The texture is dense as the swirl calms down quickly. We notice slowly creeping tears along the walls.Its bouquet is alluring, intense with aromas of papaya, mango, ripe pineapple, dried yellow roses and acacia, as well as honey, candied lemons, tangerine, vanilla, anise, butter dough, thyme and a slight note of white pepper.The taste is intense, it has an oily feel, but at the same time, it refreshes us and leaves a pleasant mineral salinity on the palate. Perceptions of ripe tropical fruit, sweet spices, and a slight caramel note are detected. This Sauvignon boasts a complex structure and an intense, long-lasting, elegant taste.Its characteristics make it ideal for pairing with Asian food, various sashimi, or dishes that the masters have enriched with yuzu citrus. It will also go well with complex, Haut-cuisine dishes assembled with fish or white meat.

Southern exposure. Top of the hill. Sun thoughout the day. Very rocky and opoka terrain, never lacks water. Planted 1980.Deeper golden-yellow colour with a pleasant shine. A gentle yet broad bouquet, rather aromatic on the nose for Rebula – just perfectly enough. Intertwining notes of dry grass, dry herbs, toast, hints of caramel, evenbuer. The sensations appear harmonious, compact.Dry on the palate, medium body, with a nice degree of mature acidity creating a stirring contrast in the mouth. The texture is somewhat oily, and the wine appears subdued and rich despite the full ripeness of the grapes. Intense on the palate, perpetually exciting the taste buds, long, crisp and clear finish. A firm Rebula destined for haute cuisine.

Intensive yellow colour with hints of green and with a small haziness and possiblesediment which is a result of non-filtering. During two-year maturation in big oakbarrels the wine also did naturally the lactic fermentation (as do all their wines).After the harvest the maceration took place for 4 days (without temperature control, without added yeasts, without clarifications…) with which we allow that a large amount of substances from the skins go into most. Consequence is a very intensive yellow-orange colour with a small haziness and possible sediment which is a result of non-filtering. During two-year maturation in big oak barrels the wine also did naturally the lactic fermentation (as do all our wines). After the bottling the wine was kept in the cellar for another 3 years, before we estimated that the wine is ready for market.

Typical varietal aromas, reminiscent of blackcurrant, green pepper, cedar tree and mint. Fresh but extremely pleasant, smooth and easy to drink with an interesting tannicity – a wine with a remarkably agreeable aftertaste. Classic ruby red with a light purple hue.
