The Colja wine cellar is situated on the sunny side of the Branik Valley, in the small village of Steske. Fertile argillaceous and marly soil and the interweaving mixture of the Mediterranean and continental climate contribute to the highest quality of the wine. They produce many varieties of wine. Some of them convince you with their elegance and charm, while the others address you with their boldness and playfulness, but all of them are harmonious and pleasant. Zelen is an autochthonic wine sort from the Vipava valley. It is of straw yellow colour with distinct greenish shades. Its gentle aroma is complemented with traces of green apple, pear and typical Mediterranean herbs. Once in the mouth it is pleasantly refreshing with a harmonic, rich taste.
