Roederer
Louis Roederer is a Champagne producer based in Reims, France, founded in 1776. From a vineyard area of 240 hectares (590 acres), Louis Roederer produces two thirds of the grapes needed for its production, sourcing the remaining required fruit from established farming contacts.
When they started exporting abroad, particularly to Russia, Tsar Nicholas II nominated Louis Roederer as the official wine supplier to the Imperial Court of Russia. Cristal is a precursor prestige cuvée brand and was made commercially available in 1945.
The total annual production of Roederer is approximately 3.2 million bottles, of which 70-80% is Louis Roederer Brut Premier.

Intense, fresh and fruity floral. A creamy composition of slightly tart, fresh red fruits (forest strawberries, blueberries) with a pleasant subtle sweetness and intense, lemony notes of candied fruit. Upon contact with air, they express a variety of aromas with a whole range of spices, such as cinnamon and pepper.Meaty in taste. The wonderful ripeness of the red fruits and their fleshiness are revealed in a wonderful way. A creamy but richly structured wine. Its fruity aroma gradually develops into a chalky, mineral freshness that gives lightness and harmony to the taste.
