Excellent, full, ripe Malvasia that has nice medium-term ripening potential. The color is medium deep golden yellow. We can find ripe, juicy yellow fruits, spicy notes of nutmeg, nothing stands out, everything is in place. In the mouth, the wine is dry and medium-bodied.
The wine is a gentle golden yellow color. The bouquet is youthful, pleasant, just right intense. It smells of elderflowers, tropical fruits, lemons, limes, even spicy. In the mouth dry, with a rich texture, salty, moderate acids and a stronger body.Classic harvest towards the end of August, short, a few hours of maceration, pressing and 21 days of temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel containers. After the flow, the wine matured in stainless steel containers with stirring - bâtonnage (three times a week - half a year) for the next 9 months.
Rebula is the most important variety in the Ferdinand winery We love it and it features inevery line of wine we produce – fresh wine (Classic Rebula), matured in oak barrels (Epoca), macerated Rebula (Brutus) and sparkling wine Sinefinis. It is deep gold, hint of orange.Selected hand picked grapes are de stemmed into barrels where berries are left in must that starts to spontaneously ferment with the wild indigenous yeast culture. After fermentation we refill the barrel and leave the berries in contact with the wine until the next harvest (for 12 months). Only then is the wine separated from the berries and further matured in a barrel for another year. The wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined.
