The water comes from the deep wells in Åhus, where it is perfectly protected from all impurities. Winter wheat, on the other hand, differs from other cereals in that it is sown and harvested in the fall. It therefore grows in winter under deep Swedish snow, which develops its hard grains, and the use of fertilizers is also reduced.
