This latest installment of Serie Experimental is an ode to the three generations of Riascos banana growers who weathered the unforgiving whims of nature to bring forth the most nourishing of tropical fruits. All of this was, of course, before the family transitioned into the family transitioned into the romantic adventure of making rum.
In a quest to find the ideal balance of flavours, Master Blender Giraldo Mituoka has steeped sun-dried bananas in fine aged rum, thus harnessing the intensity of the fruit whilst preserving the integrity of the spirit.
A bold experiment, artfully conducted.

Ruby red color with slight violet shades. Aromas of red fruits such as redcurrant, cherry, fresh sour cherries. The wine is fresh, pleasant and slightly tannic on the palate.Separate harvest of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in search of optimal ripeness of grapes. This is followed by maceration with the duration of fermentation, pressing and flowing into wooden oak barrels (225l) from various French oaks, where the wine matured during mixing - bâtonnage (three times a week in the first year of maturation) for 30 months. Unfiltered filling and additional maturation in the bottle.
