Exceptional weather conditions gave a very healthy crop of high quality. White wines show a very pleasant balance. They deliver aromas of flowers and ripe fruits.
Pressing is very slow so as to respect fruit. Juices from the very last pressings are not retained.
No yeasts or enzymes are used. The wine goes directly into barrels after "débourbage" (decanting of white wine to reduce sediment).
Ageing in oak barrels for 12 months.

The vineyard where this wine is produced is one of the oldest owned by Louis Jadot since the XIXth century. It is located in the very heart of the appellation (next to the Corton Pougets) which then expanded after 1966. Originally, it was the only place to be allowed to bear the Corton-Charlemagne apellation. This vineyard is ideally South oriented.

Aromas of very ripe fruit, predominantly white peach, come to the fore with aeration. Starts out full-bodied on the palate with fruity notes, going on to reveal rich, round tannin. Overall, a very charming wine.
