Dolg opis

Wine is of gentle lemon colour with a greenish shade. On the nose it resembles citrus fruits, especially lime, peach, fruit caramel, green apples. For a Rhine Riesling it is still very fresh and playful, but has a potential of developing into a serious Rhine wine. In taste it is strict, compact, appears rigorous, at times steely. Beautiful fruity character of the wine, its pronounced acidity and gentle sugar residue, are repeated. Aftertaste is already medium long, and with the maturing in the bottle, it will only be longer. Undoubtedly, the king among the wines, as Rhine Riesling is also (rightly) called.

It is produced from the variety Blue Frankonian. When pressing we only use the freerun without maceration. After the alcoholic fermentation the wine settles for a few weeks on fine depositions of yeast, afterwards it is bottled and it is always the first wine offered within the current vintage. The wine has a lively, fruity colour, the aroma is intense, fruity as well. Its’ freshness is balanced with a rounded-up, elegant, fruity and long-lasting aftertaste. The wine is fresh,with the right sparks and seductive which makes it the perfect companion for summer days in good company.

Pinela is a local variety of Vipavska dolina. The wine has an intense gold and yellow hue and smoothing texture. It is fresh and light with a soft and sophisticated taste. Tender and fruity aromas of citrus, vanilla and forest fruits can be distinguished. It goes well with white meat, fish and cold starters.
