Deep, ruby red color with a bluish edge.On the nose it is quite complex and rich. We notice a characteristic smell of black pepper. When we turn the wine in a glass and the smells of forest fruits are added to the day, we can also detect strawberries and raspberries with a pinch of juniper berries.In the mouth it is fresh and elegant, medium-bodied. Tannins are present but rounded. In the mouth we notice the taste of raspberries and the spiciness of black pepper with a hint of cardamom.An indispensable accompaniment to good prosciutto and other cured meat products, grilled dishes and pasta with red sauces.

In the Karst Teran wine becomes from the grapevine of Refosco. It ‘s a very fresh wine because it grows on limestone and clay soil, in fact the terra rossa denominates it. This wine is documented in ancient sources and was already known to the ancient Romans for its healthy qualities. Gourmets will appreciate it along with the Karst prosciutto and with red meat dishes. The extraction was not overdone as the texture is velvety. Obviously produced from very ripe grapes, but without any overripeness, raisins... Very unique style, very demanding to match with food, but perfectly derived wine style from overripe Refošk.
