Fruity predominates; the taste of black currant and the spiciness of black pepper complement each other nicely. It is a rounded wine with a long aftertaste (oenologist Claude Gros, Narbonne).It is a varietal recognizable, fruity, elegant fresh wine that can be drunk with various snacks - finger food. It has a softer structure than refošk and accordingly the dishes should be less spicy. Cabernet sauvignon is a pleasant accompaniment to blue fish, the dark parts of poultry, which should be prepared as simply and easily as possible. Combinations with various pastas (noodles, ravioli, cannelloni), natural steak, veal livers with mussels in red buzara, stuffed zucchini or peppers and various other vegetable and meat dishes are also pleasant. The color is deeper, still ruby. The bouquet offers both youthful and mature notes. It smells of ripe dark red and black fruits, chocolate, a hint of wood. Just a beautiful, classic merlot bouquet. The wine is dry in the mouth, the texture is velvety, the tannins are flexible and the ripe fruity character in the mouth is intense. On the more elegant side. Despite the warm year, it has a nice measure of freshness.

Rubino is a red blend of merlot 80% and cabernet sauvignon 20% with addition of sweet wine from dried grapes. Both varieties are macerated – Merlot for 1 month, cabernet sauvignon for 2 weeks. The wine then matures for two years in used barrique barrels and in the third year the sweet wine is added, which matures separately. After three years the wine is bottled without filtration.Ruby red colour, exceptional fruity smell of forest fruits, flavour composed of freshness and velvet elegance.
