Marof is a modern wine cellar, closely intertwined with nature, tradition and winemaking principles of their predecessors. With their gaze towards the future, fostering innovation, they lean firmly on tradition. They cultivate approximately 100,000 vines in three single-vineyard sites in Mačkovci, Bodonci and Kramarovci. The color is medium gold. It is dry in the mouth, not lacking in taste, which is a pleasant surprise, depending on the vintage, and in fact the mouth is full of flavor. The bouquet is quite variegated, showing signs of maturation.

Medium deep golden yellow. Medium emphasized bouquet, ripe. Honey, butter, smoke, a layer of dried herbs, wood. Distinct, diverse, but very nicely composed. Dry in the mouth, but not completely. Stronger, with higher ripe acidity. Lively and open in the mouth. An abundance of oily texture and good fruit. Caramel, butter, saltiness and full taste are attributes that convince in the mouth.Calm, with a much more moderate alcohol level than in the past, when often times heat would prevail. This time the variety and origin dominate. Long aftertaste.

Gentle golden yellow color. The bouquet is ripe, luxurious despite the years. Grapefruit, dried herbs, firn, quartz, juicy yellow fruits, butter. Sauvignon discreetly hints at its presence, Laško Riesling adds elegance, chardonnay structure. Dry in the mouth, medium body, with a flexible texture and lively acid. Aroma of ripe sauvignon - black currant-gooseberry, hay, even in the mouth a little pops up. Wine with character.Viinification: 50% Laški Rizling, the rest is Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Handpicked into 10 kg cases and emptied gently into a destemmer. Selected grapes rest in vats up to 4 days of skin contact for spontaneous fermentation with wild yeast. Aged on fine lees for 24 months in 500l and 25hl oak barrels. Blended before bottling. Unfined.

The flower is youthful, very special, with plenty of honey, apricots, overripe fruits. The wine has a strong and full taste in the mouth, but also has a very long aftertaste.Smells of yellow plum and mimosa flowers. Sonorous. A wine that reverberates through the body like an electric current. Almost physically crackles in the mouth, like reworks against a dark sky. The spice is like a wall of ne powder. Golden flowers, chamomile and the pencil-sketched shadow of honey. Massive lift through the nose. Powerful without being heavy, power with precision.
