A sophisticated hint of wood and perfectly ripe tannins harbour a great potential for long-term aging.

Vinification
The best grapes from selected vineyard sites are destemmed and macerated for 18 days. After pressing and malolactic fermentation the wine is left to mature in barrique barrels for up to 3 years.
Food pairing
beefsteaks and steaks, meat in spicy sauces and semi-cured cheese.

There are 14 Premiers Crus and 7 Grands Crus. This vineyard is situated on the commune of Flagey, close to Echezeaux, just into the most famous climates of our Bourgundy. Situated at 320 meters high, and facing East-South/East, the soil is brown, made of chalk and clay, with stones.
