Feudo Maccari
The magnificent Feudo Maccari winery, managed by Antonio Moretti, is situated between Noto and Pachino in the province of Syracuse, in a lush Baroque landscape and thus in one of the best wine-growing areas in Sicily. The winegrower, who is firmly anchored in his Tuscan homeland as the owner of the Tenuta Sette Ponti and the Poggio al Lupo estate, began a new wine adventure immediately after the turn of the millennium out of love for the beautiful and wild nature of the Mediterranean island. Feudo Maccari covers nearly 265 hectares, 60 of which are vineyards divided into three groups on the hills caressed all day by the sea breeze.

Grillo is a very versatile variety whose characteristics make it well suited to aging. This is why Antonio Moretti Cuseri tried to age a small part in oak and egg-shaped concrete tanks, for a few close friends and family members who ended up really liking this new pure version. In fact, they like it so much they suggested adding it to the range.
