The Prus family home in Krmačina near Metlika radiates the serenity of a pleasant everyday living. Three generations under the same roof symbolise the family’s wine-making tradition. At the Prus Estate, they produce sparkling wines, still wines, predicate wines and a straw wine which is made from dried grapes. They are constantly in search of new methods and procedures for improvement.

The wine has a gentle lemon-yellow colour. The bouquet is emphasized, youthful and offers a diverse, ripe muscat bouquet reminiscent of grapes, ripe yellow fruits, lime, dried apricots, figs and raisins. The wine is sweet in taste. The acids are higher and nicely regulate the sweetness of the medium-bodied wine with intense character. Eventually, the muscat notes settle all over the mouth, where they persist in harmony with the taste buds. An excellent Yellow Muscat selection convincing with exceptional variety, persistence and deliciousness. It is recommended for desserts where walnuts and other tropical dried fruits and vanilla are added.

Deep amber colours. The bouquet is emphasized, warm fruity notes reminiscent of seasoned apple compote, pears and dried apricots. The fruity character is enhanced by just the rightly matured tannins. Dry, strong wine of pleasant acids, where vanilla is dominant in the mouth, with a woody as well as a fruity presence. A beautifully evolved orange wine.
