Don Papa Rum 7 years is an aged molasses rum from the Philippines. The raw material comes from sugar cane grown locally on the island of Negros, also known as "Sugarlandia". The column distillation is then carried out at the Bago distillery. The ageing is also done on site, at the foot of the Kanlaon volcano. Bourbon and rioja (Spanish wine) barrels are used in the blending of this rum, which is at least 7 years old.
After being labelled as a spirit drink, Don Papa has greatly reduced the amount of sugar and has thus regained its designation as a rum.
Don Papa 7 ans is resolutely gourmet: a rum for a gentle introduction to the world of New World rums.

Light copper with amber shades. Distinct minerality, citrus, and thyme. Gentle and sweet tannins with long, fresh, and lasting aftertaste rounded with roasted almonds. Quince, ripe pear, baked “pituralka” pear from Brda, hints of thyme.
