The Amfora bottle is a designer masterpiece that showcases our best-selling wines. Hand harvested grapes from the best sections of the vineyards are processed and aged in oak barrels and the clay amphorae recessed into the cellar floor. Contact with the skin is long and the wine has time to enrich itself with all the goodness of the grape and to develop a blossom which indicates full maturity. These are wines for formal occasions, special dishes, and sophisticated company.

The wine is a deep amber color, so to speak, orange. At the beginning, rich notes of dried fruit, herbs and spices creep in on the nose with a slight restraint, but soon open. The taste of the wine is fresh, mineral and extremely rich, with a full body.It is an excellent harmonious wine that surprises with its rich taste and elegance and freshness, which makes it extremely drinkable and surprisingly suitable for pairing with dishes. This is a wine you will hear about many, many more times. I recommend personal wine to anyone who has ever wondered what a great white wine from an amphora is.I recommend the wine as a combination with good prosciutto, dry salami and seafood, especially grilled. I especially recommend wine with pasta with botarga.

Among the wine varieties recommended for cultivation in the Vipava region, Cabernet Sauvignon is the one that calls for the most sunshine and the highest average temperatures in order to achieve full phenolic ripeness of the grapes. At the Batič farm, Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on seven sites. However, Batič Angel Cabernet Sauvignon only comes from two vineyards: Vogrsko Mali Dunaj and, most frequently, Loke Koladovca. Loke is a village situated in the warmest part of the Vipava wine-growing region. The grapes from this vineyard were hand-picked on 9 October in the afternoon. Maceration followed until fermentation was complete. Biological crushing took place in 225 litre barrels. This was followed by a 25-month maturation period in a selection of 50% new and 50% used 225L oak barrels. Angel CS 2020 was bottled at the end of December 2022 without filtration.

White Carolina is of gold and yellow colour. The smell is expressive, with a distinct smell of coconut, caramel and over ripe fruit. In the mouth the wine is dry, dense, with appropriate levels of acidity. Some discrete aromas of ripening and yeast are recognized. A very compact and harmonious wine, offering a long after taste.
