The Korenika & Moškon, Sulne is a macerated mixture of Malvazija Istarska, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. Dark amber color, it actually looks like an amber colored gemstone.
On the nose Sulne is quince, dried dates and figs, nutmeg, broth and lots of cognac notes.
In the mouth Sulne is quince, apricots, peach jam, black tea, orange peel. The tannins are strong but nicely rounded. One might expect a wine that has been aged in wood for so long to be heavy and overripe, but that is not the case. This wine retains a lot of freshness and energy.
The grapes come from the two cru vineyards Paderno and Pod Kortinca, which are cultivated according to biodynamic principles. After hand-picking, the fruits were macerated in stainless steel tanks for 45 days. Then the wine was aged in large oak barrels for 6 years (12 months on the lees). The wine was bottled without filtration or stabilization.
Pairing:
Good with barbecue, pasta, steak. Serve at 10-12 ° C.
Vinification:
45 days on the skins (maceration), without pressing. Fermentation: inox (stainless steel), indigenous yeasts; malolactic fermentation with autochthonous bacteria. Maturation: 12 months on the lees in oak barrels, total in barrels: 6 years.
The wine is unfiltered. Production: biodynamic - Demeter certification.
Aging potential: 2021-2035

Rather intense ruby red color; vinous, well balanced nose, with herbaceous notes and nuances of berry fruit and underbrush. Dry on the palate, elegant, medium to full body, well balanced. Ideal with Friulian cuisine.Very pleasant to match fumé pork with sweet apple pickles (mostarda di mele), kren and vegetable compote – a traditional recipe from Gorizia and Trieste, which enhances this wine’s characteristics and is in turn enhanced by the wine.

Gentle lemon colours with golden hues. The bouquet is ripe, full and rich. Aroma of white flowers, honey, with clear yeast notes and slightly perceptible notes of red fruits. Very dry in the mouth, medium body, the acids are high and the texture of the bubbles is very delicate and sophisticated.Bjana Blanc de Noir is the first Slovenian white sparkling wine Pinot Noir. Sparkling wine Bjana Blanc De Noir does not have as strong bofy as Cuvee Prestige. Although it is made of Pinot Noir but it is not in pink colour as Brut rose. According to the sugar level, it falls into the category of extra brut (3 to 6 g / l of sugar) and is not as very dry as Brut zero, but it is drier than Brut.
