The Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay Couvent by Jacobins AOC by Louis Jadot shines in a pale golden yellow. In the elegant bouquet you can smell ripe pears, grapefruit and fresh apricots. In terms of taste, it impresses with full-bodied and juicy fruity texture as well as very subtle hints of oak wood. The overall impression is round, elegant and very harmonious with a delicate melt.
This varietal Chardonnay was fermented and aged half in stainless steel tanks and half in used oak barriques. As a result, the wine retains its fruity freshness on the one hand and on the other hand receives a beautiful fullness and harmonious balance.

The “Signature” of our oenologist Dimitri Bazas, this Bourgogne Chardonnay comes from a selection of our best barrels of Chardonnay. The grapes are grown in the classic regions of Puligny, Meursault, and Rully. This harmonious blend gives it both the classic character of Chardonnay from the Côte d’Or and the floral elegance typical of the Côte Châlonnaise.Bright color, yellow gold with golden highlights. Strong aromatic intensity. The nose is rich and well opened, with notes of exotic fruits and white flowers, notes of caramel and vanilla on a background of toasted bread.Fresh on the palate, an opulent body, smooth and round.At the finish, a good aromatic persistence of the fruit, united with a good balance between the acidity and the roundness.

Intense garnet red colour. It displays varietal characteristics of all present varieties. Very complex aroma and flavour of ripe plums, forest undergrowth, pepper, graphite. A rich, soft, full body wine with an exceptionally long aftertaste and pleasing freshness.Hand harvest of very rape, biodynamic cultivated grapes for all varieties at same time. Four week maceration of crushed grapes, spontaneous fermentation with natural yeast already present on the grapes and malolactic fermentation. Two years maturation of the wine in traditional big old oak barrels. Bottling according to biodynamic calendar with minimal addition of sulphur without filtration.

A cuvee of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with a translucent ruby red color and dense texture. The walls of the glass are colored with each swirl.The intense aromas are a combination of ripe blackberries with maturation in wooden barrels. Ripe plum, black cherry, blueberry, and blackberry intertwine with faint hints of butter, vanilla, and cinnamon, which brings to mind a forest fruit pie. Notes of wood, pepper, forest undergrowth and cedar follow, and in the finish, we also find a slight note of chocolate.The palate feels soft, with well-integrated alcohols. Freshness and minerality are pronounced, its tannins have a velvety effect and dry our mouths quickly. It is an elegant, full-bodied wine with an intense and long-lasting taste. Flavors of ripe fruit, sweet spices and wood are expressed in the mouth.A harmonious wine that will only improve with age. It can be served with juicy veal steak, Wellington, as well as game dishes.
