Intense ruby with soft brick-red edge. Rich and complex, reminiscent of dried plums, kirsch-soaked cherries, undergrowth, soot, liquorice, white pepper, leather and herbs.Rich, structured and ripe. The impression on the palate is of ripe dark berries and herbs. Sweet ripe tannins and a sophisticated hint of wood give the wine a nice long aftertaste.
The colour is of intense ruby, its aroma is distinctly fruity, berries prevail. The wine tastes full in the mouth, slightly bitter, without rough tannins. An elegant and harmonious wine, which surprises and inspires.Frankinja Plus is made of specially harvested grapes from our oldest vines, which have been macerated separately and gently pressed. In the wine, we managed to capture all the tannin silkiness, tenderness and grace that this variety can offer.
Dark ruby red colour. Expressed varietal aromas of raspberry and strawberry with hints of dark chocolate and ink. The aroma is persistent and complex.Full bodied wine with rich and soft/sweet tannins. The taste shows characteristics of small red berries and dark chocolate. The aftertaste is persistent, savoury, and complex.Handpicked grapes. Seven days of maceration with fermentation at temperatures up to 25°C. After alcoholic fermentation, wine underwent complete malolactic fermentation and matured for three months on lees. Twelve months of wine aging in used American and French oak barrels and casks of 2.000-5.000 litres. Bottled unfiltered.
The color is a delicate pomegranate pink with very slightly orange reflections. It has a persistent foam.The nose is subtle and fresh, first offering an original palette of tropical fruits (guava and lychee) and small berries (raspberries, cherries and wild strawberries) in the first instance. These are followed by rose and pomegranate notes which complete the complex, intense aromatic profile, dominated by somewhat undeveloped primary aromas.On the palate the attack is distinct and full, cradled by a gentle effervescence. The aromas of freshly picked berries are fully expressed. The balance brings together a delightful freshness and voluptuous body, expressed by an elegant bracing touch of mint and pink grapefruit.
Exceptional weather conditions gave a very healthy crop of high quality. White wines show a very pleasant balance. They deliver aromas of flowers and ripe fruits.Pressing is very slow so as to respect fruit. Juices from the very last pressings are not retained.No yeasts or enzymes are used. The wine goes directly into barrels after "débourbage" (decanting of white wine to reduce sediment).Ageing in oak barrels for 12 months.
