In the Karst Teran wine becomes from the grapevine of Refosco. It ‘s a very fresh wine because it grows on limestone and clay soil, in fact the terra rossa denominates it. This wine is documented in ancient sources and was already known to the ancient Romans for its healthy qualities. Gourmets will appreciate it along with the Karst prosciutto and with red meat dishes. Cviček is reddish wine, protected and produced only in Slovenia in wine district Dolenjska. It is a special production, because winemakers they don’t mix grapes, they mix wines red and white. This wine is not for ageing.The smell is gentle, but beautifully weird, especially for cviček. In addition to red fruits, which are necessary for every Cviček, we can also find some spices and floral aromas. Wine is dry in the mouth, with high acidity.
