Vinification: Handpicked into 10 kg cases and emptied gently into a destemmer. Selected grapes proceed in oak vats for spontaneous fermentation with wild yeast only and two days of skin contact. Aged on fine lees for 35 months in 25hl oak cask. No filtration nor fininig.

Medium deep golden yellow. Medium emphasized bouquet, ripe. Honey, butter, smoke, a layer of dried herbs, wood. Distinct, diverse, but very nicely composed. Dry in the mouth, but not completely. Stronger, with higher ripe acidity. Lively and open in the mouth. An abundance of oily texture and good fruit. Caramel, butter, saltiness and full taste are attributes that convince in the mouth.Calm, with a much more moderate alcohol level than in the past, when often times heat would prevail. This time the variety and origin dominate. Long aftertaste.

Black pepper, fine wood, melons, cedar, chocolate and plenty of dark red and black fruits. Time is on its side. Mature, dry, strong, with plenty of tannins that are still softening up in the mouth.

The flower is youthful, very special, with plenty of honey, apricots, overripe fruits. The wine has a strong and full taste in the mouth, but also has a very long aftertaste.Smells of yellow plum and mimosa flowers. Sonorous. A wine that reverberates through the body like an electric current. Almost physically crackles in the mouth, like reworks against a dark sky. The spice is like a wall of ne powder. Golden flowers, chamomile and the pencil-sketched shadow of honey. Massive lift through the nose. Powerful without being heavy, power with precision. I love the mouth-watering dustiness, the chalk haze that seems to run like autumn-mist ribbons in the valley.(Tamlyn Currin, JancisRobinson.com)
