The bouquet is intense and expresses a rich intertwining of fruitiness with herbs. We perceive yellow apple, quince, ripe pear, and red grapefruit. Gentle hints of vanilla are intertwined with aromas of sage and thyme. The spectrum is rounded off by a pleasant scent of heated marl.

This Rebula shows an extractive, golden yellow colour with an amber hue and a dense texture.The bouquet evokes ripe red apple, apricot, yellow fig, yellow plum, orange peel, papaya, carambola and yellow rose. Note of herbs reveals rosemary, anise, finishing with notes of almonds, hazelnuts and toffee.The palate feels soft, and the alcohol nicely underlays its structure. Its freshness is crisp and well balanced by the softness of the wine, we detect mineral salinity, and the mouth is dried by the perceptible tannins, which act slightly spicy. Pale yellow with green undertones. The nose is extremely complex; the scent of flowering hawthorn predominates, followed by fruit; passion pineapple, vine white peach and melon. The smell of real Istrian Malvasia. We can also smell the sweet smell of vanilla.In the mouth it is nicely rounded, of medium body. Pleasant fresh, fruity and crunchy. The aftertaste remains the taste of mandarins, melons, grapefruits and lemons with a hint of caramel. The wine is extremely mineral.

It matures for a long time in new oak barrels so that the sharp edges created by the long maceration and the new barrel are rounded off and the wine becomes smooth, beautiful and more round. The wine lies on the sediment all the time and is not overflowed. This way we get a merlot that is no longer reminiscent of classic, fresh fruit, but gets a more marmalade "touch", with an aroma reminiscent of dried fruit. Sometimes merlot is a bit heavier wine and so is merlot Movia, which we have to dedicate ourselves to so that we can fully feel and understand it. It is excellent in combination with good cheese. It is definitely the wine of main courses, good dinners and even lunches. When we open such a bottle, we have to have time, ass it is worth waiting sometimes even half an hour or an hour when the bottle is open for the wine to fully come to life.
