Early morning harvest, grapes are picked within an hour, then destemmed and straight on maceration. After five days we press and vinificate in barrique barrels. After one year Veliko Sauvignon is bottled.

T2016 ages 5 years and 9 months in cellars, then rests 12 months after disgorging before finally reaching your tables.The delicate chiseled nose opens with aromas of spoon biscuit, grapefruit, orange peel and almond.In the mouth, the effervescence immediately melts into the body of the wine. We then perceive a more exotic character in retro-olfaction, with passion fruit, pineapple and lime.It is at this precise moment that the physical presence of the wine takes over, carried by its crisp acidity which dissipates with shale minerality and aromas of honey and brioche with candied fruit.

We produce the sparkling wine from the variety Pinot Blanc. When the grapes are pressed, we use only the freerun. After maturing the wine for five months we bottle it and here the second alcohol fermentation takes place (traditional classic method of production). The wine is maturing on yeast at least three years. The sparkling wine Konjiška penina white is dry (residual sugar 7 g/l), the scent is fresh and fruity, the aroma is rich and multilayered, when tasted it feels very fresh and drinkable. The bubbles are long-lasting and are causing nice sparkling effects. This sparkling wine has a special character because of its basic wine, where the location and terroir are expressed.
