Cabernet sauvignon Brda Selection
Despite the passing years, it offers a deep violet-ruby color. The bouquet is somewhat restrained but lively. Primary notes abound: cherries, blackcurrants, subtle hints of oak and smoke. In the mouth, it doesn't back down and showcases the characteristic high acidity of the variety, plenty of acidity, some additional notes of new wood, and above all, abundant structure and texture that will carry it far into the future. It is still very young, with a long finish.

Merlot (80%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%), Cabernet Franc (10%); from selected vineyards that are 15 to 35 years old. Careful selection, 14 days of maceration, and 36 to 42 months of maturing in 100% new oak barrels yields an open, clean wine, reminiscent of Bordeaux wines, which will not and can not be hidden. The ageing potential is 15 years.Deep, ruby colour with tinges of garnet showing bit of development. Intense on the nose, still quite youthful regardless of age. It shows plenty of ripe dark red and black fruits, nicely knit with scents of maturation in high quality oak barrels. Black cherry, sour cherry, vanilla, a hint of spicy black pepper as well as smoke. With time gentle floral sensations such as violets are coming through. All this is nicely interlaced in joint, very inviting, high quality aromatic sensation. Quite vibrant.Dry on the palate, full bodied. With grippy tannins, plenty of structure with an aim to bring the wine in the second decade of its life in the best vintages this can be extended even to third or fourth decade. Acidities are ripe, quite high. With a rich, intense, complex aroma on the palate which s lasting. With long aertaste full of fruits and sweet spices like cloves and nutmeg.To be cellared for at least five years after the release and then can be matured for another decade.
