Fruity predominates; the taste of black currant and the spiciness of black pepper complement each other nicely. It is a rounded wine with a long aftertaste (oenologist Claude Gros, Narbonne).It is a varietal recognizable, fruity, elegant fresh wine that can be drunk with various snacks - finger food. It has a softer structure than refošk and accordingly the dishes should be less spicy. Cabernet sauvignon is a pleasant accompaniment to blue fish, the dark parts of poultry, which should be prepared as simply and easily as possible. Combinations with various pastas (noodles, ravioli, cannelloni), natural steak, veal livers with mussels in red buzara, stuffed zucchini or peppers and various other vegetable and meat dishes are also pleasant. Deep, ruby red color with a bluish edge.On the nose it is quite complex and rich. We notice a characteristic smell of black pepper. When we turn the wine in a glass and the smells of forest fruits are added to the day, we can also detect strawberries and raspberries with a pinch of juniper berries.In the mouth it is fresh and elegant, medium-bodied. Tannins are present but rounded. In the mouth we notice the taste of raspberries and the spiciness of black pepper with a hint of cardamom.An indispensable accompaniment to good prosciutto and other cured meat products, grilled dishes and pasta with red sauces.
