This noble Alsatian Riesling is grown on blue schist soil and the grapes undergo a relatively long pressing before fermentation using indigenous yeasts. The domaine then favours a partial malolactic fermentation before maturing for 10 months in large casks on fine lees. You find prune, mint and ripe citrus fruit (lemon, orange and grapefruit) notes on the nose, preceding a lively palate with a chiselled minerality and impeccably sustained finish.

The vineyards of Pernand-Vergelesses are in a very hilly area, stretching over the slopes between Aloxe-Corton and Savigny-lès-Beaune. Pernand-Vergelesses has only six Premier Crus : “Les Fichots”, “En Caradeux”, “Creux de la Net”, “Ile des Vergelesses”, “Les Vergelesses” and “Les Plantes des Champs et Combottes”. This village is located at an altitude of between 250 to 350 m.Beautiful garnet colour. Aromatic, with sophisticated notes of spice. Some extracts of red fruit such as blackcurrant or cherry on floral notes of violet. On the palate, the attack is fresh and mineral with aromas of a well-balanced fruit. The wine is vibrant.
