Deep ambra yellow colour. The nose is very complex and rich. Aromas of dried flowers, herbs, mature and dried fruits, honey, and a balsamic touch. Strong tanic structure shows it is a vine for ageing. Rich full-bodied, mineral and elegant wine.Hand harvest of biodynamic cultivated grapes with selection of clusters in the vinyard. Forty-five days skin contact maceration of crushed grapes. Spontaneous fermentation with natural yeast present on the grapes. Malolactic fermentation. Pressing and two year maturation of the wine in traditional old oak barrels. Bottling without filtration with minimal addition of sulphur.

The idea of Triton is to make a pleasurable wine with a somewhat more diverse aroma profile. An attractive wine, yet more firm, by no means light. The blend of varieties is always different. It is based on Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc (70%). The rest consists of either Pinot Gris or Pinot Blanc, depending on the vintage. Chardonnay provides the structure, Sauvignon Blanc its freshness, fragrance and grassy notes, Pinot Gris adds spice and elegance, while Pinot Blanc soothes it.The colour is golden, medium deep. Quite gentle on the nose, nicely open and ripe. Fruity notes like ripe peaches are dominant, including touch of sweet spices like cinnamon. Dry on the palate, with oily texture, and pleasant feel. Though alcohol levels are moderate, it is obvious that it was made from fully ripe grapes.Aromatic complexity on the palate is even greater than on the nose. Enjoyable on the nose, enjoyable on the palate with enjoyable texture feeling. In top condition now. Rounded with an agreeable longer finish.

The nose is fruity and slightly concentrated. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and slight notes of crushed red fruits (strawberry, raspberry) associated with discreet hints of liquorice and flowers. The palate is fruity, fine, sleek, mineral and offers a slight freshness as well as a beautiful juicy fruity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, raspberry and slight notes of Quetsche plum, blackberry associated with hints of blueberry, liquorice as well as a discreet hint of hawthorn, tobacco and an imperceptible woody hint. Tannins are fine, well-built and a bit young. Good length and persistence.
