Ardbeg Ten Years Old is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex single malt of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat; rather it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to produce a whisky of perfect balance. Named World Whisky of the Year in 2008.
Non chill-filtered with a strength of 46% ABV.
The aroma surprises with peat infused with zesty lemon and lime, wrapped in waxy dark chocolate. Bold menthol and black pepper slice through the sweet smoke followed by tarry ropes and graphite. Savour the aroma of smoked fish and crispy bacon alongside green bell peppers, baked pineapple and pear juice.
The finish goes on and on. Long and smoky with tarry espresso, aniseed, toasted almonds and traces of soft barley and fresh pear.

Lively light yellow colour with hints of green. Intensively expressed complex tropical varietal aromas of pear, gooseberry, lime, lemon peel and red grapefruit. The aroma is very persistent and by time shows characteristics of spring flowers of violets, daisies, etc. Seducing.Full bodied wine with taste expression of red grapefruit with spicy tones. A juicy aftertaste is delicious, persistent and the result of a good harmony between acidity and sugar.Handpicked grapes. Few hours of maceration of crushed grapes, pressing and must clarification by sedimentation. Fermentation at temperatures between 12°C and 21°C. Four-month wine maturation in stainless steel tank on the lees.

Intense ruby with soft brick-red edge. Rich and complex, reminiscent of dried plums, kirsch-soaked cherries, undergrowth, soot, liquorice, white pepper, leather and herbs.Rich, structured and ripe.
