Carolina Bela is produced from Chardonnay (60%), Rebula (35%), Pikolita (5%) in the Goriška Brda wine-growing region, which is characterized by hilly relief and a mild sub-Mediterranean climate. Manual harvesting takes place in the second half of September and early October. The chilled grapes are macerated for 48 hours, then the grapes are squeezed at low pressures. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. After one year, the wines are poured and combined.The color is a gentle golden yellow. Gentle golden yellow color. The bouquet is ripe, luxurious despite the years. Grapefruit, dried herbs, firn, quartz, juicy yellow fruits, butter. Sauvignon discreetly hints at its presence, Laško Riesling adds elegance, chardonnay structure. Dry in the mouth, medium body, with a flexible texture and lively acid. Aroma of ripe sauvignon - black currant-gooseberry, hay, even in the mouth a little pops up. Wine with character.Viinification: 50% Laški Rizling, the rest is Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Handpicked into 10 kg cases and emptied gently into a destemmer. Selected grapes rest in vats up to 4 days of skin contact for spontaneous fermentation with wild yeast. Aged on fine lees for 24 months in 500l and 25hl oak barrels. Blended before bottling. Unfined.
