Deep, intense, purple color. Aromas of prunes and ripe cherries - "cherry brandy" - with notes of vanilla. Dry, rounded, full, with soft ripe tannins.14 days of maceration with controlled fermentation in the vinifier, 100 % malolactic. Maturation for 28 month on fine lees in barrique barrels.
The wine is ruby red colour and thick. The smell is intensive, very fine and rich. We can sense the smell of ripe red fruit and berries ( Morella cherry, blackberry, blueberry, dried plums, and jam). It tastes dry, warm and soft, pretty fresh, tannic and tasty, balanced, intensive, elegant and durable, harmonic, strong and ripe. The wine is ripe and good to drink, but in years it will gain the harmony and drinkability. It will achieve its best after 10 years.
Very deep, intense cherry red in colou. It has a dense, ripe aroma, with good intensity and a great personality. The balance between ripeness and freshness is excellent, and its months of ageing in 500-litre barrels has granted it´s great complexity. It is powerful and structured in the mouth, with good balance and a long, persistent aftertaste.
The meticulous blend in this unconventional champagne is structured around vinous and angular Pinot Noir (40 to 50%), which is intensely fruity, and a framework that integrates the high dosage to great effect. In the mid-palate, round and fleshy Meunier (30 to 40%) contributes to the richness and softness of Ice Impérial champagne. Finally, Chardonnay brings sharp acidity (10 to 20%) and refreshes the finish.Deep gold with amber glints. The first notes start tropical, with the powerful fruitiness of mango and pineapple. They then leave room for the generosity of stone fruits such as nectarine, then to an original raspberry note. After the fleshy and delicious fullness of a fresh fruit salad comes the sweetness of caramel and quince jelly. The fresh acidity of grapefruit and ginger creates a lively sensation on the palate.
Back in the day it was common practice to sell Irish whiskey to bonders by the cask. Then, it was left up to them to bottle it. In 1963, after some greedy bonders started to water down the whiskey to fill up their pockets, we took over full control of the process, from grain to glass. Jameson Crested is a celebration of those first drops bottled back in Bow Street. Nose: Vivid sherry pot still aroma.Taste: Delicate sherry undertones & toasted wood, with fruit, spice & chocolate notes.Finish: Warm lingering sherry.
This whiskey does not follow the calendar and is only ready when it is confirmed by the tasters. They test it on the basis of appearance, aroma and, of course, taste, just like Jack Daniel himself did more than a century ago.
