Its aromas are intense, luscious. Already when pouring, we notice the intensity of ripe black berries, black cherries, plums, black olives, and mulberries, then it reveals hints of dried red roses, which are soon joined by notes of long maturing in barrels. Scents of chocolate, ground coffee, carob, cloves, licorice and notes of smoke are expressed. Finishing strongly with hints of leather and humus.
It feels dry, soft and has well-incorporated alcohols. At the same time, it refreshes us, the tannins work smoothly, and we also notice minerality and a wonderful umami finish. A wine that has so much softness that balances the taste, but at the same time indicates a long potential for ageing. A wine of intensity, lasting permanence and expressed, noble elegance, nicely accentuated by his vigorous body.

Vinification
Grapes are destemmed and put in a vinificator with skins where the fermentation begins with indigenous yeasts. When the fermentation is finished, we wait for another week and after that grapes are pressed and prepared to mature in barrels.

The selected Teran PTP is the pride and greatest attraction of the Karst. It originates from the Refošk variety on a special red soil, which can only be found in the Karst. The color of Teran is intense, ruby red, and its taste is reminiscent of forest fruits.The Lisjak family regularly analyzes the soil, leaves and grapes before harvesting. Only when all measurements meet the conditions do they set a harvest date. Maceration of Teran lasts for seven days, after which the wine rests in oak barrels for another year.

Fragrant grass, apple, and peach on the nose. Lively acid is nicely balanced on the palate. This noble wine shows delicate but unusually persistent flavour.Furmint is Slovenian oldest variety. It was already around in Roman times and has been present in this region for over 1,000 years. It is completely at home in this region and occupies one fifth of all vineyards. The Slovenian name for Furmint, ‘šipon’, supposedly comes from the times of the Illyrian Provinces, when Napoleon’s soldiers, upon drinking the wine, exclaimed “c’est si bon” – which was interpreted as ‘šipon’ by the locals.
