Attractive colour of salmon meat in Pinot Gris is due to maceration of grapes (contact of grape skin with grape juice before pressing), as Pinot Gris has a soft purple-coloured strawberry skin, and the wine is still categorized as white wine. On the other hand, it could be defined as a fresh orange wine, as it still retains the fruity character of white wines, but there is also a prolonged maceration of white mash, which is otherwise characteristic of orange wines. Smell reminds us of pear, almonds, caramel and delicate scent of bread crust resulting from maturing on fine lees. Extremely fruity aroma is underpinned by a playful, beautifully rounded taste. Acidity of Pinot Gris is always smooth, slightly higher than usual in this vintage though, so it will probably impress drinkers who like freshness and invite them to the next sip. Departure in the mouth is elegant, creamy, and at the same time fresh.

It is produced from the variety Blue Frankonian. When pressing we only use the freerun without maceration. After the alcoholic fermentation the wine settles for a few weeks on fine depositions of yeast, afterwards it is bottled and it is always the first wine offered within the current vintage. The wine has a lively, fruity colour, the aroma is intense, fruity as well. Its’ freshness is balanced with a rounded-up, elegant, fruity and long-lasting aftertaste. The wine is fresh,with the right sparks and seductive which makes it the perfect companion for summer days in good company.
