Amaretto made only in Italy: Perfect as an aperitif and with the most elaborate cocktail recipes. Made using hand-picked Apulian almonds which are roasted, and combined with a pinch of sea salt.Serve neat, or with ginger ale or ginger beer and freshly squeezed lemon.
Medium deep ruby colour with purple shades. The bouquet is moderately emphasized, beautifully ripe and floral. Ripe dark red and black forest fruits, nice touch of wood. Very fine. A dry taste, full-bodied, firm, delicious. It appears very ripe, with a bit of marmalade notes, but remains vibrant with a nice acidity. With soft tannins and a long aftertaste. It has matured for 1 year in larger oak barrels to produce a neat Blaufränkisch with a fruity aftertaste. Bluefränkisch is an indigenous Slovenian variety.
