The wine represents Movia in its essence, expressing elegance and complexity. The Great Red is composed of Merlot, which provides the backbone and the character of the wine, Cabernet Sauvignon, which takes care of the aroma, and Pinot Noir, which brings elegance and conjures special tastes.Its aromas are intense, luxurious. We detect black berries, black currants, amarena cherries, ripe plums and red roses. Soon we notice buttery scents, which are interlaced with perceptions of sweet spices, and the combination reminds us of plum tart. With time, notes of cedar, carob and chocolate express, and the finish reveals a slight touch of eucalyptus and smoke.The mouthfeel is majestic. We sense softness, alcohols are well integrated into the structure. Its freshness is emphasized indicating its youthful character that is confirmed by velvety tannins. A wine of intensity, accentuated elegance and a vigorous body that pampers us with a long-lasting aftertaste reminiscent of ripe wild berries, sweet spices and chocolate. A wine that will only evolve its already emphasized elegance over the years

Intensive dark ruby red colour. The aroma is reminiscent of ripe red berries, green paprika, liquorice, dried plums, vanilla, and smoke. The wine is medium bodied with rich, ripe fruit nicely balanced with tannins. It has a beautiful, long finish with just a hint of wood.This wine can be served with all types of beefsteaks and medallions, especially with peppery sauces or garlic truffles. Can also be served with game meat, sheep and goat meat, and medium matured cheeses.

In wine region of ‘Vipavska dolina’, harvest starts with Pinot Gris variety. Dry and warm August makes good conditions to reach full maturity and high sugar content.In order to maintain aromatic potential and fruit character of future wine, our viticulturistsplant their vines of Pinot Gris to lower layers of the valley, where temperatures are colder during the night and water reserve is higher. Grape was manually harvested; stems separation was followed and a short skin contact. After gentle pressing, fermentationspontaneously occurred, partially in wooden barrels and partially in stainless steel vessels. Wine was maturating on authentic yeast composite for a year.
