Merlot is grown on eight sites, on 15 hectares. Each plot is vinified individually, larger plots are vinified in several parts depending on exposure.
During the summer, they removed 60% of the grapes from the vines with green harvesting. Only 2 tons of merlot per hectare remained in the vineyards. Merlot vineyards were harvested by hand between September 18 and 25 in the afternoon. The destemmed grapes were in contact with the berry skins until fermentation was complete. This was followed by maturation partly in new and partly in used 225l selected oak barrels. The Angel line is signed by merlots from those regions that achieve that little bit more in a blind tasting. Angel Merlot vintage 2020 features a selection of wines produced from the Vogrsko Mali Dunaj and Šmihel Livišče vineyards. After 26 months of maturation, the Angel Merlot was bottled without filtration and without fining at the appropriate moon.

Produced according to the process of biodynamic production, after 25 days of maceration with its own yeasts, it is poured together with fine yeast into Slovenian oak barrels, where it matures for about 24 months.It is ruby red in color, with an intense rich scent reminiscent of plums, cherries, black currants. The taste is quite intense, pleasant tannins, nicely harmonious, which lets us know that the grapes were picked at full maturity. Long aftertaste.We recommend it with all red meat, especially grilled but not too spicy.

Among the wine varieties recommended for cultivation in the Vipava region, Cabernet Sauvignon is the one that calls for the most sunshine and the highest average temperatures in order to achieve full phenolic ripeness of the grapes. At the Batič farm, Cabernet Sauvignon is grown on seven sites. However, Batič Angel Cabernet Sauvignon only comes from two vineyards: Vogrsko Mali Dunaj and, most frequently, Loke Koladovca. Loke is a village situated in the warmest part of the Vipava wine-growing region. The grapes from this vineyard were hand-picked on 9 October in the afternoon. Maceration followed until fermentation was complete. Biological crushing took place in 225 litre barrels. This was followed by a 25-month maturation period in a selection of 50% new and 50% used 225L oak barrels. Angel CS 2020 was bottled at the end of December 2022 without filtration.

Pinot Grigio from Pinot Grigio grapes, fermented as a white wine. It has an intense straw-yellow colour; its aroma is intense, full and fruity, with excellent persistence. Its taste is dry, velvety, and particularly well-orchestrated for its full body.To be paired with fish soups, chargrilled seafood and various dishes based on field mushrooms and porcini mushrooms. This wine is wonderful with squid ink lasagnette pasta and crayfish sauce.
