Carolina Bela is produced from Chardonnay (60%), Rebula (35%), Pikolita (5%) in the Goriška Brda wine-growing region, which is characterized by hilly relief and a mild sub-Mediterranean climate. Manual harvesting takes place in the second half of September and early October. The chilled grapes are macerated for 48 hours, then the grapes are squeezed at low pressures. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. After one year, the wines are poured and combined.The color is a gentle golden yellow. The bouquet is medium accented, with a nice play between floral, fruity and a hint of plant notes. Dry mouth, acids are high, but mature, medium-bodied. It impresses with a varied and exceptional game of flavors, where saltiness, fruitiness and a hint of vanilla are intertwined.
Vitovska is considered an indigenous variety in the Karst. This variety has found its home precisely on the red karst soil, where it defies the karst burja, cold winters and dry summers. Pleasant, fresh and fruity is ideal as an aperitif and complements best light meals, starters and fish dishes.Straw-yellow colour with golden hues. Bouquet remind us of lime flower, chestnuts honey, roasted hazelnuts and dried pear. Refined, medium intense taste. Despite the maturity, it preserves its freshness. The aftertaste in sweet and pleasant.
Deep, nearly opaque ruby colour. The nose is ripe, dramatic, reminiscent of dark fruit, ripe red fruit, coffee, liquorice; while also spicy, somewhat smoky, hinting of dry plums and oak. The ripeness of the grapes is evident, vibrant in combination with a delightful liveliness and freshness.Dry on the palate, juicy and compact. Structured, with a firm tannin grip that might be easily ascribed to some other Bordeaux variety, and a fine degree of acidity that picks up the wine. Full body, bold yet not averse to elegance. A long and diverse finish, confirmingthe wine is yet to see its best days and is well worth the wait, as its firm structure an abundance of fruit make for a fabulous ageing potential.
