Concentrated dark fruit is more muscular than is typical for a classic wine from Margaux and shows rich coffee flavours. Fresh acidity really lifts the fruit and the plentiful fine tannins have a velvety grip. Alcohol is a touch warming and the finish is nicely balanced and lasts beautifully.
