This Rebula shows an extractive, golden yellow colour with an amber hue and a dense texture.The bouquet evokes ripe red apple, apricot, yellow fig, yellow plum, orange peel, papaya, carambola and yellow rose. Note of herbs reveals rosemary, anise, finishing with notes of almonds, hazelnuts and toffee.The palate feels soft, and the alcohol nicely underlays its structure. Its freshness is crisp and well balanced by the softness of the wine, we detect mineral salinity, and the mouth is dried by the perceptible tannins, which act slightly spicy. It's thanks to these properties that the mouthfeel is balanced.A Rebula with an intense taste, fuller body and lasting, elegant persistency.A harmonious wine that will only upgrade its elegance through maturation. If ribula and EXTO (ex tokai) represent the floral and fruity part of the spectrum among our wines, Pinot Gris is from a completely different story. The color is quite deep, golden and indicates maturation and evolution. Although the primary aromas left the place for notes of flowers, dandelion honey, raisins and pine resin, the bouquet is unmistakably reminiscent of Pinot Gris.It might take a few minutes to break through all the layers of aromas and for the bouquet to fully open and develop. Dry in the mouth, with wonderful complexity and depth of character, a hint of tannins and a very long finish. Pinot Gris walking on untrodden paths, untamed but civilized.Pinot Gris is served chilled to 10 ° C. Due to its complex character, it goes well with greasy grilled fish such as mackerel, eel or carp, pasta with tomatoes and basil, eggplant dishes and also Asian cuisine.

The vineyard is located rather high on the hill of Pernand-Vergelesses, not far from the Hautes Côtes de Beaune Appellation.The soil is mainly composed of brown-yellow marls and clay dating back to the young Jurassic period (about 150 million years). The surface is very rich in oxide, mainly iron explaining the brown colour.
